cause we're country

Yesturday was probably my most favorite day in forever. i went to Kelsey Bryants house & we rode four wheelers for a good three hours. we also went mudding and got soaked and groudy right before a church dance, but it was most defnetly worth it. she showed me around her small town of Caswell and i got to meet the cutest little boy with the most adorable country accent on the planet. overall the day was totally worth the 45 min car ride to "east china" as mom would call it.

we clean up well. &with only 30 min to get ready(:

then the second best part of the day was getting to see SARAH KINNEY! it was her first dance last night and i can honestly say i did my job in embarassing her. everytime she would dance a litle bit i would scream "GO SARAH, GO SARAH, ITS YOUR FIRST DANCE! ITS YOUR FIRST DANCE!" i love this girl!she cracks me up. favorite thing she said the whole night was "they can fix houses, mow lawns, paint houses, and everything else, but the cant work an ipod!" super funnyy

judgement day

aparently someone was kind enough to warn all of North Carolina that judgement day will be this saturday. May 21, 2011. i was on my way to Raliegh this weekend and it was all over the bilboards. either we are the only state that needs to repent or the preacher has gone crazy. if God was going to warn someone he would warn states up north. the south is a simple place where the biggest sin is when you forget to hold the door open for a lady.

fake it till you make it

there are about two weeks left of school & im barely making it. so until the end im faking it. i hope that i can evetually pull it all together and make it through the 10thh grade. if not... i guess life will go on (:

young&reckless

Tonight at youth group me rachel & mckay talked about all the times at girls camp that we definetly didnt listen to any of our leaders. & it made me realise that if we would have been "those girls" who do everything they were told then we woulnt have any stories to tell our children. and looking back now i would make every single mistake all over again, just because. Me McKay && Rue are completely different than all the other girls at church. we kinda sorta make our own rules. but overall we got everything we needed to learn from camp....

like how to make a fire...

and adapt to different environments...

and expect the uexpected...

Chapstick.

I have a friend and her name is rachel. rachel has a really bad addiction to her chapstick. so this weekend we went down to the beach. and once we finially go to the hotel guess who couldnt find her chapstick? so we went back to retrace our steps and it hit me that i had my chapstick in my hand. we have the same kind so me being the smartgirl iam decided to chuck my chapstick behond her and she saw it and was like "AAAAAHHH YESS!" and i was like rachel thats mine. she hates my guts. now after typing that i realise that it was a total "be there moment". anyways we stayed at a hotel with a bunch of long boarders and a baseball team. yum. later when we were laying out on the beach a bunch of guys were walking straight toard us. we were all like umm are they goin to walk aroud us or what. cause they just kept coming stright for us. then one guy just straight runs at us about to jump over us and then stops. we ended up meeting them and getting a couple pictures. we actually went in the water. mainly cause we had to pee and we were to lazy to go all the way to the bathroom. but we just ran and dove in. once we were all in for about 1 minute we all came to a conclusion that our boobs had never been that cold in their whole lives. overall it was a fun trip and we sung our little hearts out the whole way home. i love wilmington, beach.
