today marks the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. although i do not remember the actual event because i was only 6, it has still made an impact on my life. i mean how can it not? Ever year on this day i watch how united we become. We may not dress the same, have the same religion or standards, look the same, or eat the same foods, but we are all Americans. We are all people trying to figure out what we are saposed to do here on Earth. I will never forget those terrible men that had the nerve to kill numerous amounts of innocent Americans. What they did is cruel and they will be punished. i am proud of the individuals that went back in to save others. i am proud of the fire fighters that rushed into the burning buildings without even considering the risk they were taking. i am proud of the families that have lost members that have forgiven the men that caused this to happen. i am proud to be an American.
take time to listen to this. never forget.

BYU Cougar
This morning at 4 am Logan left for college. Mom went with him to get him all settled into his new life. Hes rooming with Jarom Roney. Jarom is our cousin and they are going to have the best time at college. The last thing Logan said to me was "Cami, dont like boys". To say the least i think hes worried. Hes been the best older brother. Hes going to be in heaven because he thinks that Zion has the prettiest girls in the world. my only question is why Zion has to be 2,000 miles away? oh well. I'm pretty sure hes going to miss our family because lets be honest...there is alot to miss. But hes going to have the time of his life and i wish him the best of luck!

como se dice...
today me and rachel took a roadtrip to the spanish branch to visit rosa garcia. and it was super funny. first off we only understand so much spanish. at one point rachel turned to me and said "do you ever get the feeling that they are talking about you, but you have no idea" basically story of our day. we could not control our laughter when a man behind us was totally of key and tune during the sacrament hymn. i dont know why but everything is so much funnier in another language. we were the only white people that attended. well except for the missionaries which were a great help translating. i also decided that little kids that speak spanish have the key to my heart. and this one girl was yelling the young women theme, like really? we are inside. we will attend there again because its much more entertaining than our wards.
p.s. Rosas brother came home from his mission. yay for the food after church.

big sister
i have a big sister named stacey mckenzie kinney. a sister doesnt have to share blood or a last name with you. she doesnt have to share your brush or your favorite shirt. a sister can most definetly be unbiological and live 2000 miles away. stacey is just awesome. we share the same sence of sarcasm and it gets super funny sometimes when the creative juices start flowing. we are not afraid to tell each other when the other person is being a complete idiot. we can call each other and vent about our beautiful wonderful lives. we just get each other. i know for sure that we were saposed to meet each other. no one can replace my sister. i love her and miss her because she lives all the way in utah. but we both know that her being there is what is right, so it makes it alot easier to live with. i am so grateful God blessed me with her in my life. love youuu!
